I would like to connect a beacon to my has light switch. The beacon is in my rear window. The wires have been run to the rear already. What color is is the hat switch wire at the rear lh side?

Thanks

Hello, I'm Danny.

I've attached a picture below of the rear light wiring diagram. Here is a tutorial showing how to check wiring if it helps.

Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thanks Danny! That was helpful. But I cannot see which wire is coming from the hazard switch up from to the rear turn signal. I only want it to flash when my hazard lights are on opposed to my turn signal. Should I just run a separate switch?

Hello again.

The hazards will only flash the turn signal bulbs. You might have to install a relay so that it would only flash when the hazards are on. Otherwise it might flash when turn signal activated.I will look into it more and get back to you. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Thanks again. I tried it with it wired to the left turn signal, and like you said, each time my turn signal is activated it flashes. Does that light blue wire go to the haz switch? I haven’t tried connecting it to that yet. Will try it tomorrow.

Hello again.

Here is an update: I looked at your cars wiring diagram again. I've attached below a picture of the hazard switch. I've circled in red the wire you should tie into. It's the white wire #4. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Thanks again Danny. I was trying to avoid runnning that wire from the front to the back, but it looks like there’s not way around it. Thanks again.
