Changed rear end and now drive shaft retaining clips won't line up. If I change u joints will that solve my problem, or do I need the drive shaft I got the rear end from?

Yes, they do make 50/50 u joints just for this problem, I would contact the driveline service in your area and tell them the rear end you have, and the year of your car and they will know what you need. Use 2CarPros anytime, we are here to help. Please tell a friend.

Found out I used a rear end from 2010 Yukon Denali in my 2002 tahoe. Both have the gu6 code in glovebox but the retaining clip for the yoke won't line up. Can I just change the yoke so the clips line up or what can I do? Can I put a yoke from a 2002 on a 2010 rear end

Did yo try to get the 50/50 U joint? A drive line shop can help you install a new U joint which should fix the problem, I would not try to change the yoke out because there is a crush sleeve that is preloaded which is gets messed up will ruin the 2010 diff. Can you upload images of the problem?
