My friend and I are working on this vehicle. It started as a vibration in the right rear and became louder as time went on. We changed the bearings (it had had another repair bearing put in it before). It was still about the same after. So we did a further inspection and pulled the plate to check the grease. Behold we found metal shavings galor! Not to mention it was low on grease. My friend deduced that the pinion gear was bad so we went and pulled a rear end on a 2000 Jimmy. The question I have is, would the rear end being 2wd be an issue? My friend counted the teeth on the pinion gear and it was the same as on the Bravada. My friend thinks it'll work. What's y'all's opinion? Thanks in advance for any and all input!
