I watched your video on replacing my rear axle bear and seal. I did successfully replace them but now it sounds really bad as if something came lose or maybe my bearing was not all the way in? Any solutions? Or normal problems to look out for when put back together? I do not want to but tonight I am just going to have to redo the whole process to see if I missed a step.

Good morning.

When you replaced the bearing, did you inspect the axle for any wear? It is common for the axle to wear at the area where the bearing rides. If there is wear, the axle will need to be replaced.

Did you make sure to top off the rear axle fluid when done?
