Hi,

I wanted to know if it is safe temporarily to drive my car with a 2-3 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance/No Third or Fourth Gear Problem?

Hi,

Is it still shifting properly? If it is, I would say you should be okay for a while. However, I would be easy on the vehicle, don't push it too hard, and don't wait too long.

As far as the problem is concerned, if you provided me with the code you have, I will be happy to help you fix the issue.

Also, anytime there is an issue within the transmission, there is a chance the vehicle could go into what is called limp mode. What that simply means is this. It will stay in one gear and the car will move so you can "limp" it to safety.

Let me know if I can help. Also, make sure it is still shifting properly.

Take care,

Joe
