When I drive, my car makes a rattling noise a 30 mph and 1,500 rpm's. Also it makes the same sound going uphill and when I slow down around the same speed, 30 mph.

Hello my name is Dave.

Do you feel any vibration/shake when you here the noise? Most speed specific issues are tire/wheel related. Can you tell where the noise is coming from? If you have a shake when you hear the noise I would recommend starting with having the tires rotated and balanced. If you could get back to us with this information we will be glad to hep you further and thank you for using 2CarPros!

Hello,

This sounds like something has come loose and it is rattling when there is a load placed on the engine or when it is at a certain RPM range. Have you checked under the hood to see if any metal lines like A/C lines, brake lines, fuel lines, etc. Might have come unbolted from the supports? That is where I would recommend starting first. Please check for this condition and get back to us with what you find. We can go from there if needed.

Thanks,
Alex
