Rain leaks onto rear passenger floor

Passenger rear floor floods when it rains.
I understand many GM models have had this problem and even GM has never found an answer.

Have you looked in the trunk to see if there is water in there? Also, do you have a sunroof? If so, check the drains because those get clogged all the time.

However, the common cause of this that baffles everyone is when you remove the card board panels from the trunk, you find a hole rusted through about the wheel well.

When this happens and it rains the tire kicks the water up and it runs through the hole and down into the rear seat of the vehicle.

You are correct, there are many models that have this issue so I would check that and make sure that is not your issue.
