As my coolant temperature exceeds 200 d, my radiator fan turns on. It remains on for approximately thirty seconds and shuts off for approximately thirty seconds and continues to oscillate off and on and my water temperature rises. Is this a sign of a faulty coolant temperature sensor of other problem?

Good afternoon,

Yes, the signal is from the temperature sensor. You can try replacing it and see if that repairs it.

If not, then we need to do some electrical checks.
