I was at the shop today getting a new motor and regulator in my drivers side window. He said he could not finish it because I am missing a little white piece on the bottom of my window and when I get one to come back he can finish the job. here is what he is talking about http://imgur.com/d5zg3qZ he said I just need that but on the other side where it is missing. 1) Does anyone know what part or piece that is called? and 2) Could he have done it with out it. Thanks.

Near as I can tell it may be this piece that arrow points to which would be either called a roller or guide for window channel. You'll have to go to a dealer for that and it may be part of regulator he could have put in what he had and taped window up but everybody does things different.

It is much larger than that, and it is connected to the window. I have the motor and regulator all set up, just need that piece that is on the window.

It has to be a guide or attaching piece for window which is probably dealer only they will have the part a lot of auto parts don't have that kind of stuff.
