Was driving and suddenly I couldn't change the transmission from D to P
even to N or R. Non of them worked, just drive. When I stop and turn off the engine the car didn't start. Don't know the problem. Please help.

When you say you could change does that mean you could not move the shifter or does it mean you can move the shifter but none of the gears work but drive?

Yes, just one gear worked. Just drive. No response from the shifter.
After when I stopped and turn off the engine then I couldn't turn in back on. The shifter has been on drive.
And also the shifter seems to be very light when change the position. What seems to be a problem? Any idea?

It sounds like something let go inside the transmission but to be sure lets remove the shift cable and try to work the shifter to see if its work correctly again. Here is a guide, check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.
