PVC hose or O2 sensor

It was jumping when idle. It overheated at one point and had a leak with the antifreeze. This is when I took it in the first time. They said that it was the hydro pump and O2 sensor. Fuel injector error was coming up. Hydro pump had a recall so it was paid for. We just paid for the O2 sensor. Then, I got an OBD scan while I was getting the oil changed and 7 showed up - sames as before. It never did seem fixed. He said to wait and call back after two weeks if it was still having issues, but then I had the seizure and was in the hospital and could not really drive it much. Then it started getting worse. That is why I took it back again.

Thank you!

Hey LCHRISTY,

It is possible that they did not delete the codes after doing the work the first time.

If you are a returning customer and you have already had a part replaced on their advice they have some responsibility to help you get the issue resolved.

They will need to delete the codes, road test and recheck.

If they do this and can give you a list of fault codes that are still remaining let us know what you have and we can try and give you some advice on what will happen next.

Hope that helps.

Any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Regards, Joe

Hey lchristy,

Which engine do you have in your car?

I am not seeing any recalls for the water pump.

What has the dealer done now?

Have they cleared the codes and retested?
