Problem with driver door not closing properly?

Sounds like the latch is faulty. Unfortunately, this is a Malaysian built vehicle, and I don't have much information. But I will try to help you the best I can.

Is the door able to be locked?

It looks like this issue should be covered under Proton's Basic Warranty.

60 months or 150,000km, whichever comes first. Since it is a 2023 and under the 150,000km limit, I suggest letting the dealer fix it in my opinion.

You can try spraying some white lithium grease in it. Then opening and closing the door, spray a little more, open and close the door a few times more and see if it gets better.
