One fine day, my front passenger window decided not to come back up after putting it down. Took to a local mechanic and he said motor need replacement and all electrical's are fine. I got a new window motor which perfectly fits my car. Tested it yesterday by removing door panel and plugging in, and the new motor does the same thing as my old motor, rotates only in one direction ie downwards. I then jumped both old and new motor with 12 volt battery. It both works perfectly in both directions. At this point I suspect it is the switch or wiring. Driver side master switch doesn't work for up or down motion, but the individual switch on the door allows down motion, but not the up motion. Please help with your suggestions.

Good afternoon,

Yes, I agree that you have an electrical issue.

Test the wires to the motor from the passenger switch. Test them with both commands. I attached a diagram for you to view.
