Power window

My passenger power window suddenly stopped working. I think it was an overnight thing. Window is up/shut. Had no previous sign of malfunction. Neither switch/button has any effect. I am assuming all parts are original.

If you put your ear up against the door while operating the window switch can you hear any clicking etc inside the door?

Ok I just tried with door open and window WORKED! I know I tried today with door shut did NOT work. Maybe its a wire problem in door hinge?

Yes the wire that goes thru the boot to the door inside that boot is broken.
