Power weakness

Hello, The problem is that the car's energy and power disappears when I drive up hills. I mean when I drive in ascending roads the car start to lose its power and it cannot recover its power unless I rev the accelerator several times. What worth mentioning is that I replaced the air filter and cleaned the sensor, but no use. What can I do? I am completely puzzled. Please help me. Thanks

You should have the computer scanned for any stored trouble codes to help you with any issues.

I am not there to experience what you are but are you sure it is not just the fact that it is a compact car with a small engine?

If it is not storing any codes in the computer it is highly likely that nothing is wrong and that is just the nature of the vehicle. They have very small engines.

You know, sir. When I bought it, it had check engine light on the dashboard, so I had to have it checked by computer. The computer technician told me to buy a new accelerator pedal and I did. Indeed after he fixed the new pedal the check engine light disappeared, but the problem of losing power in ascending roads still exists. Sorry sir, I forgot to tell you something about the lights on the dashboard. There is also a light of the hand brake still on the dashboard. I checked everything related to this light, but no use. Please, please, please, help me.

Sir, you cannot imagine how much is it weak in driving up hills in comparison with the other ones with smaller engines. I drove another 2012 Corolla it was completely different from mine.

Even any one drives mine, they all tell me that I have problem in engine power in ascent.

The brake light can come on for three reasons, not just the parking brake. Check your brake fluid level. That may be the cause.
As far as your problem, my hands are tied with no informaton to go on. I suggest you have a local shop take a look and advise.
