Power train light keeps coming on how do I clear it?

Have the diagnostic fault codes read and recorded. Diagnose the circuit indicated, repair it, then erase the codes. The people at many auto parts stores will read the codes for you for free. Be aware those codes never say to replace a part or that one is defective. If a part is referenced in a code, it could be the cause of that code, but about half of the time it is a wiring or connector terminal problem instead.
