Power steering issue?

Hi and thank you. Car has been into clueless hands. Many parts were replaced. Power steering pump changed, but the pulley extracted and installed the "wrong way". Symptom: When turning right, things are okay. Turning left is hard, and the pump growls and overflows, pump replaced again, pulley installed the "right way". System bled correctly, with wheels off the ground and engine shut, side to side for 1omns. Left until next day. Engine started: same symptoms. Hard on left side and overflowing. What shall I look for? Could the Power steering box be faulty? Thank you. (Being overseas does not help in the process)
