I'm replacing my power steering pump, the pump has two hoses attached to it, one is a simply clamp which I got off, the other has a bolt of some kind holding it down. Do I need a power tool to remove this, or can I do it by hand?

You should be able to remove by hand. Also make sure to replace the washers. If you are replacing the pump for noise, inspect the reservoir screen for debris. If you cant see the screen or you see debris in there, replace the reservoir as well.
