About a week ago my powersteering pump stoped working. The fluid is real thick. How do I drain this all the way to pump to replace it?

Good morning,

I attached a picture of where you have to remove the return line from the pump to drain the fluid. When you disconnect it, put the hose in a bucket. Cap the open line on the pump with a rubber line to prevent leaking.

Then start the motor and add fluid as it runs into the bucket to flush the system of all the old fluid. Run about a gallon on fluid through the system before turning it off. Then hook the system back up and top off the system.
