Power steering

I have had power steering problems with the car since I bought it never really had it and if it did it was choppy and would come and go I took the pump apart and did what I would normally do and check on the components and they all seemed to be in good repair put it all back together and I only have power steering when the car is reved at 3000 rpm or more plz help

This sounds like you either have air in the system or the pump is failing. I understand that you did not see anything when you took it apart but the fact that you only get assist when the RPMs are up, is an indication the pump is failing and most likely leaking internally.

I included the process to remove, rebuild, and reinstall the pump that you may not need but they are there if you do.
