My 2003 ml320 side mirrors do not work. I just bought this car on ebay. The power side mirrors did not work when I got it. I checked the fuses under the hood, they are ok. Power windows work fine. I carefully disassembled the center console to check connections, and plug to the mirror switch. Looks ok, the mirror switch seems ok too, it clicks and sounds good. But left and right side do not work at all. The mirror heaters work, the directional lights work ok too. Can anyone help me? Is there more fuses somewhere? I put a test light on the mirror plug an no power there. I am out of intuitive troubleshooting options. I have no idea where the wires go. There is a plug on the mirror switch with a dozen tiny wires disappearing in the harness. HELP

The most common suspect is broken or frayed wires between the door hinges, but if your switches are in the center console, you'd have to have broken wires for both doors, and that seems like quite the coincidence.

Did you find 12 volts feeding the mirror switch? There should be a second fuse box inside the car. Did you find and check those?

Gentlemen
I have a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. I’m having problems with the mirrors not working. I have probed all fuses under the hood and dash and they all are ok. I bought a new switch but that two failed to work the mirrors. I also probed the socket to the switch there is no power, my question is could there be a broken wire in the rubber boot between the door and body.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely. If you find they are okay, consider starting a new question specific to your model. This was a private conversation between just two or three people. As such, none of the other experts are going to see your addition or have a chance to reply. Even though I'm a genius, that might not get you the help you need as fast as possible. Also, your new question can show up on a model-specific list for others researching the same problem.

If you can't find the link for a new question, I'll copy it from a different computer and post it here for you. Also, please copy and paste the link to your new question here so I'm sure to see it. If you do find broken wires, let me post how I handled them before you make extra work for yourself. I'll type up that story at home tonight, and save it in case you need it.
