2007 Porsche 911 6 cyl Automatic 31,000 miles

My 2007 911 Carrera was in an accident and they have just finished with the body work. Now I am told that it is at the dealer getting the "codes" set. How long should this take?

It depends what codes are displayed. If its simply clearing the faults due to taking things apart it shouldn't take more than an hour. If something needs to be replaced due to the accident then the shop needs authorization thru the insurance co to repair why the faults are displayed. That can take a few days. Find out where the car is at and ask them You have the right to find out whos working on it.
