Replaced oil and filter spark plugs and wires PCV valve. It acts like it does not want to go up hills hardly. And it jerks sometimes when you try to get it up to a certain miles per hour. Please do not say it is something expensive we, I will just give up on it. Also, sometimes it runs hot we will put water in it it will run out if we stop and go a few times at stop signs or red lights. We have tried checking for leaks have not seen them. Please help. Thanks, the Anglin's.

Using water with no apparent leaks sounds like a head gasket. The lack of power would go along with that as would the jerk now and then, one cylinder fires and ignites the fuel in both through the hole in the gasket.
Not a cheap repair but you would need to call a couple local shops to get correct pricing for your area.
