Using socket (not impac) I feel I may break the center bolt on the harmonic balancer when I put a cheater pipe on it. Is it a left loosen and right tighten bolt? Can I put alot of strength on that pipe and not break the bolt?

Brian, the center bolt through the balancer did not break and came loose as you said. Thanks for that.
When I use the harmonic balance puller on the O E balancer it has a ressesed lip and all the flanges do not sit flat inside the lip or accross the whole balancer face unlike the the replacement balancer that is flat across so all lay flat on it.
I have stripped one puller bolt because it must not be pulling straight. I looked at a different puller and it also is designed the same. What you think?

These bolts are actually very strong, they are regular thread. To loosen go counter clockwise. If you have an air gun I would use that because these bolts are VERY tight. Post back with any other questions.
