I have a 1996 sunfire 2.2 with 120000 miles. I lately had a problem cylinder 2 and 3 had no spark so I changed the coil. It ran fine for 10 days then the cyl 1 and 4 let out so I changed the other coil with no results. I tryed to interchange the coils still no results s no spark on 1 and 4 so can someone help me
thank you defaucher@hotmail. Com

I would go through and make sure you have snug connections to the plugs and coil. If so you may just have to replace the wires. When wires are moved around, especiallyold wires, for plug checks and replacement they can sometimes get a hair line crack in them which prevents firing. Only thing you can do if this happens is change the wires. Try taking the wire from cyl 2 and replace cyl 1 with it. See if it fires.
Make sure you change both ends. If you have a wire running to cyl 1 that is connected to the coil port for cyl 2 you can damage your car.
