I have a '97 sunfire, standard shift, with 75000km. All original parts.

Recently it developed a popping sound on the front left side when I turn left.

So far, I have replaced the front and rear struts and mounts, changed the bearings on the front wheels, changed the front tires. It's still doing it. And just for " fun", I replaced the entire exhaust system, including the gas tank and muffler. What else can be causing this popping sound?

Should I be looking at the tie rods? I'm tired of spending huge sums of cash to repair shops and the problem is still not fixed. Although I will admit my car is handling like it did when I first bought it in '97. : )

Can You offer suggestions of what else I can ask the mechanic to look at?

Replace You Cv Joint. When The Boots Get Torn And Allow Grease To come outside and dirt to enter It Ruins Ur Bearrings. This Will Cause A Poping Sound.
