My coolant is leaking but very slowly. It took about 10 days or 500 miles to leak completely empty. What could be the problem?

Hello,

You possibly have one of the component or hoses that is leaking. It could be one of the radiator hose or heater hoses, it can also be leaking form the radiator or the thermostat housing.

First you need to do visual inspection of the cooling system to see if you are able to locate the leak. You can also do a pressure test to find the leak. A pressure test will put pressure in the cooling system, similar to when you are driving this can make the leak more visible.
You can get those pressure testers at your local auto parts store.

Here is a helpful vide of how to pressure test:

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
