Ok so I recently had my power steering pump fail so I took it to the garage and had it replaced. A couple of days later the outlet pipe popped off the back of the pump and doused my engine with power steering fluid. Once again I returned to the garage and had them rectify the problem.
As I was driving home I noticed a mild squeeling sound had started, coming from what I think is the front left of my car. The squeeling stops when I turn the wheel moderately to either side. My engine is still covered in fluid and Im not sure whether that may have got on the axle and be causing it.

Hard to say but the fluid wont ruin the axle. And if it did some odd way. It wouldnt squeal.

Sounds to me like you may have fluid on the belts causing it to slip or when it ran out of fluid the pump overheated and now you need a new pump.

Either way take it to them and have them fix it right.
