I HAVE A VERY SMALL LEAK COMING OUT OF MY HEAD GASKET. I BOUGHT A BOTTLE OF "BLUE DEVIL" SEALANT TO TRY TO SEAL THE LEAK. THE BOTTLE IS TELLING ME I NEED TO FLUSH MY COOLANT FROM THE CAR. WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO DO THIS CORRECTLY.

IS IT NECESSARY TO FLUSH THE SYSTEM AS THE BOTTLE STATES OR CAN I JUST ADD IT TO THE COOLANT AND GET THE SAME RESULTS?

NOTE, THE BOTTLE ALSO STATES THAT "BLUE DEVIL" CAN STAY IN THE SYSTEM WITH THE COOLANT THAT WE ARE TO ADD AFTER THE FLUSH.

IMHO. That is a mistake. IF you are going to use it. Follow the directions.
Do your homework.

What activates it? Oxygen?. Like most do.

If you get an air pocket will you later activate it and plug the thermostat, radiator or heater core?

That's treading on thin ice in my book.
