Our brake light by the tail lights do not work but the brake light on the hatch works. We have replaced the bulbs and they used to work on and off and if you hit the side of the van they would work and then not work, etc but now they will not work at all. Our cruise control also quit working and the air conditioning does not work any more? Any ideas what could be wrong?

I would suspect multifunction switch at the steering column
Check ground wire at light bulb socket
check 4 way flasher
check fuses

as for the AC check fuses and check if system is full of gas
check 134A gas in the ac system if low or empty ac will not work

good luck

This is actually a pretty common problem. The circuit boards (that you plug the bulbs into) go bad on these vans and the lower brake lights stop working. When the brake lights don't work the cruise won't work either. You can order new circuit boards on ebay for about $30 each and swap them out. However in my experience that particular problem has nothing to do with the AC so that is likely a separate problem.
