The line from the condenser to the expansion valve at the fire wall came out of its clip and had a hole rubbed in it from the steering shaft. I found it with some dye. The system sat with no refrigerant in it for almost a year. I replaced the line with hose and crimp fittings. Pulled a good vacuum. Charged with the factory amount of 134a. I am getting zero cooling back on the suction line. The low side is about 30psi and the high side is about 140psi. Added more 134a and high side goes up but low side stays at 30. Still no cooling on the suction line. So. Will the dye lock up the valve or plug up the drier after sitting for nearly a year? Whats my next move?

Yu might be getting what is called freezing up. If you see ice or alot of frost on the suction line by the evaporator then it's possible that's it. Dye is not a good thing to be putting in an a/c system. I'd reccomend changing the orfice as you don't have an exspansionn valve on that system or shouldn't. Also change the receiver/drier and reevac the system. Your low side should read about 37 @about 75 degrees.
