Inside courtsey lights wont shut off

Howdy this is a 92 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and the inside lights wont shut off when you shut the doors but it only dose it sometimes. I pulled the fuse for it because it kept running my battery dead. I made sure the doors were completly shut all the way and they still stayed on.

Replace the buttons that tell the car that the door is shut, they may not be functioning properly.

I talked to Jim Robertsons Chevrolet (our local dealership) and they told me they couldnt order them and that they would stop working for all the time not just part of the time. So where can I order them from? And is this all that it could be?

Its eaither that or you have a cut/cracked wire preventing the switch from grounding out the light circuit.
