Hello, I own a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. The car needs new rotors because the wear indicators are showing. I decided to do it myself to save money. I removed the caliper but am unable to get the rotor off. Do I need a special tool to do this? Any suggestions?

I am not sure on that car in particular but on most the rotors just sit on the threaded rod that the lug nuts screw on to if this is the case try just hitting it with a deadblow hammer on the back side to try and free it. And im assuming your also changing the pads
