My car is taking off slow when I push the gas pedal and the check gas cap ligh is on, what could be the problem?

Replace the gas cap. It is part of the EVAP system and if cap is loose it will set code.

If problem persists, check with local autoparts stores and have them scan PCM for additional error codes.
