1994 Pontiac Grand Prix Two Wheel Drive Automatic

In the mornings I would start my car and put it in drive, but when I push the gas pedal, the car will barely move and will act like it's stuck in a high gear, but after I push the pedal down some more, it will finally act like it's out of high gear and act normal again.

Check your trans fluid. More info needed, what do mean by high gear? Is it high rev/idle?If so, could be IAC or TPS. Start with the fluid and let us know

I changed the transmission fluid and filter and it still has the problem. You start the car in the mornings and it'll be normal it's just when you put it in reverse and drive and try to get it moving, it will barely move, but after a few seconds of giving it more and more gas, it will run fine again and i've changed the fuel filter too.

Could be a torque convertor issue or worn trans
call your local transmission shop and ask them what they think it might be
