Hi I recently took my car to the deal to do the back brakes. I was told that the front wheel hub needs to be replaced its making a noise. So I had a friend who works on car look at it and he said he thinks its the sway bar link that need to be replaced. And now my wife says that she hears a noise under the hood but really only when she turns left. She also tells me that the abs light keeps coming on since the dealership did the brakes. Any ideas I wish I could say more but I am in the military and not at home so all I have is what I have been told by my wife. Thanks for any help.

Thank you. You probably do have a bad hub bearing, thats why she hears the noise turning and a bad hub bearing will cause the abs light becasue it will see erratic wheel speed variation from that hub. The new hub comes with a new wheel speed sensor. Hope this helps

Good grief a lot is going on.

A wheel bearing would generally make a humming noise when moving, but have heard them click on hard turns.

A sway bar link will make a rattle or clunk noise going over bumps.

The abs light "may" be realated to the wheel bearing. But maybe the brake job if they.

You can have an independent shop diagnose it,
have the dealership diagnose it,
replace the hub assy and hope it takes care of the abs light or inquire within. You can have either your friend or wife jump into this conversation as well.
