2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, When the dash vents are turned on, they will eventually blow heat, but it takes about 25-30 min. However when I turn the knob to defrost (after heat has started coming out) the air goes ice cold from the defroster vent and won't clear my windows. What do I need to fix? I have already replaced the thermostat.

Kinda sounds like the blend door actuator. This is a motor that moves the blend door ( controls from hot to cold in the heater box) you may want to have it taken into a reputable repair shop to have it properly diagnosed.
