Brakes problem
2004 Pontiac Grand Prix Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I own a pontiac grand prix gtp. Recently the service abs/ traction control indicator light has come on. I am assuming they are related. My question is are this due to a wheel speed sensor or possibly a bad wheel bearing. What should i do to fix this problem? Thanks...Justin.

It is possible a wheel sensor connector has worked loose.

To find out, you would need to have the ABS/Traction control system scanned with a chassis scanner. Most autoparts stores only scan "P" Powertrain codes. The ABS system will set a "C" chassis code.
