2002 Pontiac Grand Prix My key will not come out

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 60,000 miles

I can't get my key out of the ignition. The car will start but it wont rotate all the way back to release the key.

Same thing in my 2000. There is a switch under the steering wheel(bottom of column). Stick your finger in hole and flip the plunger switch to release key
