Just a couple days ago I pushed in my parking break and it got stuck. I had a my sister husband take the wheel off and he knocked it loose and it was fine yesterday and earlier today. All of a sudden when I push the gas at all it doesn't start going as fast as it did before and there is a very loud noise almost as if I had the car in Neutral and I was reeving the engine. As soon as I let off the gas it stops. Also my car seemed to heat up faster than it normally does in the cold weather.

I would check out the catalytic converter. If this is clogged it could cause a loud noise and back pressure on the engine which could make the car run a little bit hotter. Also when it is clogged you will lose acceleration power. Hope this helps
