2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 162000 miles
In the morings when I turn on the car, I get a very loud noise, it sounds like a putta-putta or a chugga-chugga sound. It's embarrasing loud. It only last about 3 to 5 min after turning on the car. Once the car is warmed up the noise stop and I get the regular car sound. Can you tell me what you might thing it is. I was told it could be a crack in the exause manafold.
