The blower to the heater /AC stops working at the same time the daytime running lights stop working. Intermittent.

The problems you speak of lie in your ignition switch..it's usually the orange wire..but I found it easier to just replace the whole igniton switch..cause if one wire is bad another is sure to go bad. This ignition switch runs just about everything! I think the ignition switch thru GM will run you about $100 but I found one on EBAY thur a place called Morad parts. They are awesome and have just about everything you need for later model GMs. The parts are used, though, but they get used cars and immediately tear them apart and store their parts in an climate controlled warehouse. They are very helpful and will answer any question. Good luck to you :)
