My brother-in-law mixed anti-freeze with dex cool. He did not know you are not suppose to do this. I want to flush system, but I noticed the pudding like anti-freeze in his radiator. Should I flush normally, or shoud I add a cleaner and if so how long should he drive with cleaner in radiator? The car has 175000 miles on it. Other than this the car runs fine. Thankyou bruce

I WOULD USE THE CLEANER AND REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT ALSO, THE STUFF I USE SAYS RUN FOR 15 MINUTES, OR YOU COULD DO BOTH ADD THE CLEANER RUN THE CAR AND FLUSH
