My car is leaking coolant inside the car onto the floor. What could be the problem and about how much might it cost to repair?

Most likely the heater core has ruptured.

Depending on who does the repair, it could cost up to $1,000.
It's not the cost of heater core, it's the cost of removing a portion of the dash to get to it.

I would add, get this fixed FAST. Coolant is highly toxic and can cause severe burns.
