IGNITION SWITCH WORKS FINE MOST OF THE TIME BUT OCCASIONALY WILL NOT GO TO OFF, LOCK POSITION, WHAT COULD BE POSSIBLE PROBLEM?

There are several things that may cause this intermittent problem. You can read about this common issue at the following link..

You may have to replace the ignition lock cylinder to solve this issue permanently, however I suggest first trying a new key.
