2001 Grand Prix with a squeaky front wheel

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix with 130,000 miles. Last week when I pulled it out the the garage I heard a squeak from the left front wheel. It seemed to only happen when I was in reverse. Today the same thing started to happen when I was in drive. It doesn't happen all of the time and it doesn't happen when I apply the brakes. Any ideas?

It could be dirt/dust or a small rock. You could try taking the wheel off and clean the backside off. I dont know if its the same on a car though but that's what sometimes happens my dirtbike tires, but I just take them off and wash them, and its better.
