2000 Pontiac Grand Prix Engine spudders while accelerating

Threw a code says cyc 2 misfire. Changed the cyc 2/5 coil pack, check engine light hasnt come on but it still spudders bad under acceleration and around 6-7,000 rpm the check engine light flashes but there are no codes to read so please dont say check for codes.

I saw someone with similar problems but never saw a responce to what fixed it.

First thing I would do is test the plug wires. Next was the coil pack new or used? Try to swap a plug wire with another one, as well as the coil pack. If the problem is still showing on those 2 cylinders, then check the wiring harness going from the ECM to the ICM.
