2000 Pontiac Grand Prix cold air

My car is blowing cold air instead of hot air when I turn the heater on. What is the problem?

Either thermostat or heater core.

With engine warm, quickly touch the two heater core hoses, if one is hot and the other is cool, then heater core is blocked.

If both are cool the thermostat is open.
