Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 121000 miles

my back up lights was not working, so I checked the fuse and it was blown I tried to replace it twice, each time my fuses blew, so I checked all the rear lights I found no blown bulbs. What I did find was on the driver side two of my bulbs had a little corroisn. But the socket had almost no corrosin, well maybe alilttle. I removed all bulbs and the fuse keeps blowing. Could this be a wire short or corroded socket. Or somting else. Any answers I need help bad. And plz give me more than one answer if possible

Most likely caused by a faulty back up lamp switch
