Smells problem
1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl

starts and runs for 4-6 miles dies due to flooding problem, I take the fuel press. Regulator out and shake the gas out. This does not allow a restart. I will be able to restart after approx. 4 hours then drive the 4-6 mile range. Have not replaced the fuel press. Regulator, scared that the 90 dollar part will not fix the car. Dont have money to waste like that as I am unemployed.L

Hi
O.K. If your shaking fuel out of pressure regulator then diaphram has ruptured fuel is being sucked up vacuum hose to intake thus flooding. Check vacuum line if fuel in line Replace regulator
Hope this helps
